I have a 2000 Kawasaki Concours. I recently installed a power outlet (Cigarette) to the handlebars via a quick connect located under the front fender. This is on the bike and in the owners manual stating it is for just that type of purpose. Another quick connect is located under the seat where I installed a 100 watt amp again built directly for a motorcycle. When I plug my pda into the power outlet and the amp is on I get a thumping noise from the speakers. Is this a sign that I dont have enough juice to power it all at once or should I remove the amp from the disconnect and wire it directly to the battery? I might also add that the Bike is equippd with aftermarket Heated grips and a cruise control. Is there any way to get more power from the bike?? Electrically speaking?
