I have an ''85 Harley Police Special. Lately it shuts down after a very short ride. No electrics. I wait a few minutes and am able to get it started again. Short ride later...same thing. HELP

So when you said " No electrics" you ment the entire bike shuts down, you pull over, wait a few then you can start it again? I understood that differently.

Have looked into your circuit breakers, or ground straps?

I'd start there.
