Hi I have a Suzuki Hayabusa 2001. I had to replace the harness (completely). All is working except 1 issue. The connection (electrical) from the old harness to the gas tank was a 4 pin plug, as was the one on the tank. 2 wires for the sender fuel gage and the other 2 for the (in tank) fuel pump. However the "new" harness has 2 indivdual 2 pin plugs. I have carefully Riged these temp. to test. The fuel gage works fine however the pump won't. I have checked the pump by energizing the pump with 12v and it hummms (like it used to do on "ignition on" i think this is pressurrizing the fuel, but it was a very familiar sound as the ignition was turned on and the clocks went through their check routine. I also checked the volts from the 2 wires coming out of the harness going to the pump, I only get 6.3 volts. I am open to all and any suggestions as the weather has broken here in MI and I need to ride. Thank you.
