1999 kawasaki kx250 ......cant get any spark, got new plug...wire looks fine, everything clean....but no spark. The owner took the bike apart to clean ( not the motor ) and when he put it back together it wouldnt ignite. I checked all the wiring and it is correct......even checked the kill switch for a short. Fed up ...Thanks

Hello,Check your stator for ac voltage while kick starting it at the plug harness at left side top of engine case.If you dont bad stator if you do go to cdi coil and check there .Most likely a bad connection but kx do have burned stators.Roger
